What do you charge for illustration?
I typically work by the hour ($80/hr). The more complex an illustration (eg. number of figures, level of detail), the more hours it takes to create.
When we have our initial meeting, you should have a rough budget in mind and I will suggest what type of illustration will fit that budget.
I also have a non-profit rate and sometimes will agree to work for an honorarium or set fee.
